'Dream Blog' best SEO friendly Blogger Template free

99% of Templates in Blogger aren't that SEO friendly so I thought of launching my own template to let other bloggers use it. This template is one of the best template in Blogger because it doesn't use much images for backgrounds and that makes your blog load faster. There are more other features of this template. 
SEO templates in WordPress are sold for more than $70, because they are worth it. But no one has made a start to make SEO templates in Blogger, but for the good of blogger users we are launching this template for free and everyone can use it.

Downloading and installing

Extracting the files : The .xml template are inside the RAR file in download links. You have to extract the files with the help of WinRar program.
Installing the template : Check this tutorial for an easy way to upload this new template to your blogger blog. But do remember to backup your template before uploading the new one.

The features in this template are unlimited and awesome. I am sure you haven't seen any such template for Blogger. Although i thought of adding a quick list of features available in the template.

Blogger should introduce a Theme Store

Blogger is undoubtedly the most used blogging platform, big or small, bloggers of all levels use blogger as their blogging platform. Blogger themes are another element of a blog, blog with good templates and looks are always attractive. Blogger provides different types of template for blogs but they are limited, and most of them aren't updated, so it makes your blog back of 2007, there are options to design your own template by HTML,CSS and JavaScript but general bloggers will find it difficult to learn new web languages to create a new blogger template.

If you have ever used WordPress then you will see a well maintained and daily updated theme store, WordPress users can select any theme from the store and then apply it on their website/blog. Some are premium and premium templates in WordPress theme store are always professional and good for SEO.

The Authors of those theme are paid if someone buys the template and that makes more and more web designers to contribute into making a theme for WordPress, it's also a good business from WordPress.

Currently Blogger don't have any such stores, like premium thing and it hasn't even updated any feature since 2 months, where last feature update was the Search preferences. Having such a template store in Blogger will attract new bloggers and web designers to submit their own template made with hardwork. Alternatively there are sites who provides themes and templates, but as they are free template, they don't guarantee for it. You may download one but usually they are not well formed and sometimes mess up the whole layout and that's the different between a free theme and a premium paid theme.

And i am sure that if they introduce a template store, it will improve blogger and make it of 2012.

But here Guest blog posting helps you if you have talent, no one can make themselves popular, hardwork is what others see. So if you just started a blog and want couple of loyal followers then start working hard and guest post on other blogs.

No one likes laziness 

Would you like to read a blog with no regular content ? Blogging is not only about writing on your website but also reading what others write, but no one likes to read a blog with irregular posts. That's in your case also, if you want your readers to come back and want the search engines to love your website then consistency is must. When you start blogging you can't call yourself a blogger. Blogger can post any where but the main aspect is that it should be helpful. So if you are even guest posting on other blogs then don't just publish one and leave it as it was a formality. Anonymous comments on Blogs, beware it's spam

Spam, some hates this word and some who are used to spam loves 'spam'. I had previously written some articles on referral spam, which helped thousand of people to understand what is it and avoid it. But now when it's fading out a different spam took over. 
Comments in every blog is a way to give your feedback on the post and it's very useful. But what will we do when it's also spammed. Imagine how your blog will look with full of spam comments with random links into it. Almost all types of spam's target is to make the victim click on their link, but as always never click on those links.


Spams comments done by 'human' is understandable but in this case it doesn't seems like these comments spams are being done by a human. These new spammers are very smart, they only post one comment on the post whenever it's published. The comment contains some self praising sentences with a link to a mysterious site irrelevant to your blog topic.


I noticed that they post such comments that readers would want to visit the link in curiosity. As an example you can see this email notification (can't show the actual comment because i am using disqus)


     
You wondering how can i say that these comments are made by computer bots ? I am using Disqus comment system in my blog but these spam comments are yet made on blogger comments system. So this concludes that the comments are automated and done by a bot but behind all these there must be a human at least.

Be safe and avoid these comments and links in it, you may also mark these comments as spam to help blogger understand that comments with the links in it are spam. Also teach your readers to mark these types of comments as spam.

To keep our blogosphere clean we need to fight with these spammy things which is common now, use your common sense and just take actions that may not harm you. 

Buy a blogger template or use a free one ?

Apart from the content, template design is also important. Search engines don't see your template design so design doesn't matter in SEO but the people seeing your blog needs a good user interface for navigating through your blog. Nobody wants to read a blog with no design or an outdated design blogs.
Remember the days of 1990s when internet was only used for transferring data on a plain page with black text and nothing much. Internet was not utilized the way it is used today. Design has become one of the important element in an online web page. Especially in blogs where presentation is important.


It was about the needs of design but the main topic this post is about buying a template for blogger or using a free theme. Considering a free template is easy, as you start blogging you are not aware of SEO which is the main and very important source of your readers. But is free template good for your blog ? If you don't know the how internet and search engines work you would think, they look great but there's a dark side of it. Read it below.

What's bad in using Free templates

You will find many sites on internet providing you free templates for Blogger and you will just download one for you blog and apply it. If you have a look at Wordpress theme store you will find professional paid themes and each of them are professional looking, they will look good on your blogs whichever topic it's on and that's the specialty of paid themes. But for free templates they aren't well formed or ever given a professional touch, they are just made to increase the numbers of templates in a free blogger templates sites. Free blogger templates also sometimes contains links to other sites just for backlink and you will never know about it because the author of the template hides it. Backlink to random sites from your blog will affect your blog's reputation for search engines. Even sometimes they contain iframes in which other web pages are embedded, it's the worst, they are integrated in a site template to increase pageviews of other's site just to get money from their customers for increasing traffic, it means your pageviews will also add the pageviews to the site in iframe.


Even after reading this you want to use free templates, i won't stop you. But check if they have implemented any iframe or hidden links, if you found those in the template then keep from using that template.         

The benefit of using paid blogger templates

The best thing with paid templates is that you get a unique design for your blog. In paid templates you can ask the designer to make changes on your needs, so you have your own unique template. As these templates are not free, they are created with hardwork because designers are going to be paid for that.
Also, it's on you to have the attribution or not. I would say that attribution is okay as it will encourage your blog viewers to know more about the template designer or author.


I don't think it's a big deal to pay $20 for a premium template, if we talk about WordPress themes i have seen the lowest template @ $45.

Big blogs like SpiceUpYourBlog is inspiration source to many people. Spice up your blog or SYB is a blog on blog designs, SEO tips and etc. Paul Crowe the owner of SYB is very knowledgeable about blogging and web design.
