Is Your Facebook Down ? You're not alone!

Facebook, the second largest website on the internet has suddenly stopped working everywhere!

Update: It is up now
Millions of (almost everyone who uses FB on a daily basis) people encountered error while trying to access the Facebook website. None of the pages is accessible.

It shows the following page (Facebook's current status) :

Sorry, something went wrong
We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can

This  is all Facebook has for the users now, no technical details about the errors are out yet. Plus there has been no updates on when it will be fixed and Facebook will be accessible again.

Don't worry, no one is able to access Facebook for now, so use an alternative to connect to your friends and family.

What you can do:

1. Go out.. meet your friends in real, chat with them and click some photos and share it using bluetooth.
2. Use Twitter or Google+ to show your condolences for the sudden demise (temporary) of Facebook (#kidding huh!)
3. Remember the old days? We used Text Messaging!

What you can't:

1. Update your status about Facebook's error.

Open Links in a New Tab on Right Click Disabled Sites

Disabling right click on websites and blogs are not a common thing among bloggers who don't want their sites content to be copied.
Disabling right click is quite useful (but it doesn't completely stops a user from copying the content) but for the visitors it can be annoying and a very bad experience exploring a site with right click disabled.

One of the biggest problem is opening a link in a new tab. If you have a mouse with a three buttons (check if your scroll button is clickable) you can open any link by clicking on it using the middle button but if you don't have such mouse then might probably get mad and perhaps punch your monitor screen too !

But if you are here then you considered to Google a solution for this instead of damaging your PC.

Opening a link in new tab

Could have been easier if you had a mouse with three buttons but don't worry, I won't make you spend money just to open links in a new tab.

The easy way is to use CTRL + Left Mouse Button (LMB) and for Mac CMD + LMB (not sure - I don't have a Mac). It should now open the link in a new tab.

But if you have a mobile device then god bless you :( but don't lose hope, Google again for a solution for mobile devices.

Update: I am soon going to launch a Chrome extension that will make links on a site to open automatically in new tab on click.

For Website/Blog Owners

If you have a blog or website with right click disabled then you might place a notification box that should tell the readers what to do to open a link in a new tab.

But the better way is to add the target='_blank' attribute to your  external anchor element so it opens in a new tab by default.

And if possible, don't add any alert message on right click. Disabling right click is okay but to show an alert irritates. Check Disable Right Click Without Using JavaScript even this tutorial uses JS but not a big JS function and the best thing is that it doesn't send out any alert message to scare the right-clickers (who aren't always content copiers) but I always say that it's impossible to stop the bad-a*s content copiers to copy your content so always be ready to use the Removing Content from Google form and the best part is that human will respond to your reports!

Why Cultek(dot)com is in referring sites in Blogger

Cultek(dot)com, this is what in the news in blogosphere and many are asking why in my referring sites list ? Are you getting some visitors from their, your blog has become famous and many things comes in mind but don't you want to check what is it actually ?
But before you decide anything just read what is it actually. No doubts it is another cheap referring spam site and all they want is from you to click on their link and then get affected by their virus or malware.

The pageviews you get from the website is totally fake and is increased by computer bots and that's how they work. The reason they increase your pageviews in this way is that they will get place in your stats and to curiosity you will try to open the site and if you don't have a good protection software installed then your computer might catch malware or virus and that's the worst.

No one knows what type of virus they are actually spreading cause i haven't tried opening these sites but if the virus or malware is very dangerous then it's possible for them to take control of computer or fully make your computer malformed.

Moral of the story is not to click on these links until you are sure that the link is safe to visit, your one single click can get your computer hacked so think twice before clicking. You are here means that you first tried to find out more about it, good :)

There's actually no way to stop these nonsense, not even Google can block it, as far as i know. The only way that i always suggest people is not to click on these links, once they stop getting

any victim in their trap they will cool down automatically and that's what we need.

Switching to Custom domain effects existing backlinks ?

There are hundreds of questions in one's mind when he is going to change his blogspot or wordpress domain to their own custom domain. One of the most common question is about backlink, backlink is important for SEO and Pagerank, so this may always be a concern but is it really affects your backlinks ?

When switching to a new custom domain then it's obvious that you will see downfall of your traffic and believe me it's normal, you will again see your traffic back to normal when your page got crawled by search engine bots. But what about backlinks, will your old backlinks will be yet credited and help your SEO and pagerank ?

The answer to this question is NO, switching to custom domain doesn't affect your backlinks in any way as long as you are redirecting your blog to the custom domain from server side. The reason is that search engine bots not only sees the URL but get into the link and indexed the link redirected when visits that link.

It's clear that if you are pointing your blog to your custom domain then the backlinks of your .blogspot domain will even work for your custom domain, cause the bot is also redirected to the custom domain when it's crawling the url.

It means you never need to worry about the backlinks, it's obvious that you will see backlinks count fluctuated in Alexa because their system is different, Alexa is not a search engine bot so that doesn't even matter for you. I suggest you to use your .blogspot domain whenever linking from sites, that will make sure that if you again switch the domain to different domain name then the backlinks would work.

It will also not effect your pagerank, your pagerank will also be the same when Google crawls  your blog it will see your new custom domain after the redirection and that's when your pagerank will be also transferred on your new domain

It was that simple, this was a small post to let blogger and other users on subdomain provided by the service,  so it's safe for your search ranks and PR to get a custom on your blog as long as the redirection is made on server side.

Embed Slideshow in blog post from Picasa

Many Blogger users wanted to use a slideshow technique in Blogger, but they don't have the idea to do it. This tutorial will tell you an easy and working way to put slideshow into post.
Embedding this slideshow into your post don't require you to use some heavy codes. Or you don't have to insert each and every image url in the source HTML yourself. This slideshow gadget provided by Picasa uses flash embed to put the slideshow on a page, so it's only displayable if you have Flash Player installed in your browser or computer system.
Just follow these steps which is a 2 minute work.

Procedure to add the slideshow

If you are using blogger then the photo you upload into your posts are actually stored on your Picasa Web Albums. The half of the work in done inside Picasa Web Albums, follow the steps
  1. Log into your Picasa Web Albums with your current Google account.
  2. When logged in you will see a upload button on top of the page, click it to upload your picture

picasa web album homepage upload button

  3. A new page will be opened, name your Album and selection the files you want to upload by either clicking 'Select photos from your Computer' or dragging and dropping the pictures in the box. Just a quick example of it here.

  4. When the photos are successfully uploaded you now have to make the album Public, because photos uploaded directly through Picasa site are turned to private. You will see the privacy settings on right side (if it's already public then you can leave this step)
Click on the Edit > And when a new box appears, you will see a dropdown menu under 'Visibility', select 'Public on the web' and Save changes.

We have now completed the 80% distance.
Implementing the code in blog post
To implement the code into a blog post, create a new post. You have to switch to the HTML mode and then paste the copied embed code from Picasa into the HTML of the post. Switch to compose mode to see how it is looking.

Tip - If also want to have texts in your blog post (obviously) then first put the embed code in HTML mode and then enter a character after the embed code of slideshow. When you switcht to compose mode you will have the character in the Compose mode to get a text writing point in the post.
Tip - Not only in post but you can also embed this gadget anywhere into your blog or website by placing it in the right place.

Yay ! That's great you have your own slideshow in your post. If you are a photography blogger then this tutorial will help. Drop your comments on how was this tutorial helpful to you.

What Alexa is exactly about? - Explained

Alexa rankings are now seen before someone buys a website or want to advertise on it. It ranks a web site on the basis of it's traffic and demographics count. But this is just a common description about Alexa, there is more you need to know about Alexa for getting a better rank in Alexa.

Millions of webmasters now use Alexa site as a tool to check the traffic rank of any website or blog, lower number in your rank means higher value. Undoubtedly Google is the number 1 because it has the highest traffic than any other site on Alexa.

But driving traffic to the site is all what Alexa sees ? Read ahead

Just traffic increases your Alexa ranking ?

Alexa ranks sites on basis of it's traffic, so it's obvious that Alexa ranks a site better because it have some good traffic. But traffic can be now bought on many sources that's not a good mark for a blog or website. I have seen many Facebook page owners offering to share traffic from their site for some $s. And newbies bloggers, who just want to increase traffic accepts to pay and buy the traffic. But did that increased your traffic, the answer is no.

I have experimented myself, a blog getting more than 10k pageviews ranked lower than my blog getting about 2k Pageviews per day. And that happened only because the traffic i got on my blog was 70% from search engines but the traffic on other blog was from Facebook.

Now we come to the point that organic traffic is what you want, so buying traffic from Facebook or any other illegal sources can harm your own site and you better keep away from them to make your blog look more professional. If you aren't getting much traffic then never loose hope, if you are making great contents with hardwork then you will see rapid growth of readership on your blog or website.

So, how to get organic traffic ?

The recipe for organic traffic is easy. Make contents on your blog that's useful for others and those which is being searched by others on Google and search engines. You need some Good Blogging tips to learn blogging step by step. I will be adding tips on blogging everyday so subscribe our blog for updates.

Publishing new post on your blog always increases the chance of getting higher ranks on Alexa as you are supposed to get a bit of traffic from your new content as well.

How to use Chrome developer tools

Chrome is the best browser for any web developer like me, it's just all i want to discover new things online such as new designs and techniques to make the web better. So, today i will give some basic tips on using Chrome developer tools to understand your own website/blog structure better.
In most of the tutorial for blogger, it's straight that the selectors will be the same in all classic blogger templates and that CSS or JQuery can be used globally on any blogger blog and that might work well.

But when you are using a custom template for your blog or website then you don't know what selector to put the CSS or JQuery and that's frustrating, but ever wondered how we know what selector you must use on your blog for a particular CSS or JQuery ? Now it's clear that you know, it's Chrome developer Tools.

Chrome developer tool is one in all complete tool to understand the structure of a page and see the complete HTML. You also get to see what files are loaded with the site load and also you can monitor the network condition and how files are loaded. That's why i love using the Developer tools. Here is how it looks (opened for blog page)

    chrome developer tools

Whenever you open it you will see some beautiful codes and i just love it !

    How to open it ?

When you want to experience better web developing with Developer tools then always use Chrome, browsers like Firefox also have their own developer tools inbuilt but not too effective.

To access the developer tools in chrome, find a blank space or an element in the webpage and right click on it, you will see 'Inspect Element' in the menu (usually at bottom), click on it and you will get your developer tool opened. Now you will get the first feeling of a web developer.

    Using it

You can't make use of the developer tools if you don't have any plan regarding it. But yet you can look at the structure of a website to know more about it. It's more than just source code of the website, you can edit the website by changing the HTML markup on the elements page and the changes are made in real time but the changes are only for you, editing the HTML markup doesn't mean that the changes will be made for everyone viewing the website. Not only HTML, but you can also apply CSS and JavaScript on site, it's useful for testing a code before you apply it on your web page.

    Elements

Elements tab shows you the elements of the webpage your inspecting in HTML and on right sidebar you will see the matched CSS rules on the element you are inspecting. You can edit the HTML by right clicking on the HTML markup and edit HTML or double any HTML line to change it.

    Resources

This the best place for me, because i can test my developed CSS code without bothering to apply it on the web page and then test. Actually the resource tab is for seeing the files externally with the website, such as JavaScript, CSS, Fonts and images files which you can call resource for the website.

    chrome developer tools resource

You can see that i am editing a CSS file in my website and that's how i test new CSS. If the website you are inspecting have a stylesheet file then you can edit it freely or add new CSS to it to test a CSS before you apply it.

Similar to the CSS file you can see JS, Fonts and images files too.

    Network

As the name suggest, it's related to network. It shows you how your browser loaded the content and is the condition ok. I don't use it much but it's help for people who really need help with their network monitoring.

    More other tabs

There are more other useful tabs in the chrome developer tool, which is very useful when you want it. You can discover more with the developer tool and even if you aren't a tech savvy person you can learn the basics of web development yourself and then basic is all you need to get to the next level.

    Your feedback ?

This post was written to help people inspect their websites for better and fast development. Your feedback is important for us to improve our content and know more about how are we doing. You may drop your previous advice and thought in the comments.

How to publish your content to a larger audience?

How frustrating it's when you create a post after hardwork of hours but what you see is that not a single pageview on it ! That makes us feel that our work is worth nothing even we created something that should reach peoples.

In Blogging having the writing skills is important but the strategies you need to make your blog reach much bigger audience is also compulsory, as you don't want your published content to go unseen. SEO is essential for getting a good reputation in Google search ranks and that's what SEO is all about.

But the problem with SEO is that it needs patience and many bloggers can wait to see the best result, all they want is fast. If you are in such hurry then SEO is not for you, i mean you may try to optimize your search engine rankings but just because you want keep patience then there are some graceful methods to increase your traffic with readership if you have quality contents on your blog or website.

Fortunately, Google is not the only way to get traffic for your blog, Google is undoubtedly the major source of traffic for any website but what about less established blogs, don't they deserve to get readership when they are having tons of quality contents.

    Taking help of social networks

The idea is to create your own community in big social network such as Pinterest or Facebook, it's easy to get in touch with people interested in the field you are blogging and then you may share your contents with them. But let them also expose their own content to you and other members of the community, don't just let others read your blog but do read other blogs as they may contain information which you will find useful in future.
Digg and Stumble Upon are two main ways to target your post mainly and publish it to the users of stumble upon and Digg. These sites work like a bookmarking tool. You will get some small numbers of readers at start but as you keep doing it you will see your blog being read by more and more people.

    Guest posting

Guest posting on well established blog can give you a good number of readers for your blog, as when you publish your genuine and quality content on other blogs, you get subscribers of the blog as readers for you post and most guest blog posting enabled sites, they offer to give backlinks which is again good for SEO.
If your blog is new then don't publish your best content on your blog, keep patience and find a big blog in the field you write and contact it's owner for guest post submission. Most of the blogs who offer guest post entry have a page for it which you can find in links on the webpage.

    What's your tip ?

Don't forget to tell us your idea about increasing traffic and readership, drop your precious comments.

Is your blogger blog owned by Google ?

I am a Blogger user from start and have been using Blogger for more than 2 years. Blogging is easy with Blogger but there's a fiction that don't have any base.
There are numbers of misleading and invalid facts about Blogger and it's usability. The most common myth is that your blogger blog is owned by Google not you and it can be deleted at any time. I have noticed that most of them who think believe this is the truth are WordPress users. Same with some services which don't accept blogger blogs at all because of these fictions. When someone predicate that my blog is not owned by me, I just reply back to them if their blog is really their's (they don't own the server).

I am not pointing that all WordPress users presume this myth but want to tell every person that's it's nothing than a deception. The only base on which people are shouting that blogger blogs aren't owned by it's said owner is that files of your blogger blogs are stored on a super fast, secure and free of cost server.

Blogger don't give it's user the access to databases or server that are important for server side scripting such as PHP or MySql etc. And I don't think that it's not a minus point of blogger but a plus point, as we don't have direct access to it's server databases, the chances of getting our blog suddenly down is way too less than with other open source CMS such as WordPress where a one line mistake of code in your databases can cause your website to be down and that's what most WordPress users have to experience.

But if we compare the hosting of Google free super fast, secure CDN with your paid hosting then you decide which is better ? I don't think that any server is worth to be compared with Google's CDN. And who knows when your paid hosting server gives you a heart attack by erasing your files anonymously.

Or if the topic is that content is not owned by you then don't you have the option to backup your contents ? Blogger users have easy option to backup their content files and with that they can move their blog anywhere they want, so you should stop believing these myths.
Open source CMS like Wordpress are never secure, if you take an example of how Amit Agarwal's Blog was deleted by hackers. It was easy for hackers to delete Amit's databases from his server because of easy access to databases files on server and MySQL injection was easier because of not too secure server and this is one of the reason why government sites are easily hacked by hackers. Other reasons can be that they were not on Google server.

As for deletion of blog from Blogger then it's obvious if you violate the terms&condition of any service then you are supposed to get kicked out from it. Especially when it comes to a big name like Google, Blogger.

Are you proud that Google can't delete your contents but can delete a blog contents on Blogger ? Then you are living in a world of darkness, Google is where you are supposed to get visitors from to your blog or website and if Google wants they can shove you out as well by banning your website and stop indexing it.

If you are a blogger user then never feel alone I am also a blogger user :) and never believe these myths. And I think other who used to think that blogger blogs are actually owned by Google are now realizing what's truth.

To become a pro-blogger you should be same with every CMS. As your reader's don't want to know what CMS you use, what they want is content. Focus on content.

Text background appearing white when published post - Fix it

There are thousands of people out there using blogger templates with black post background and post editor we have got at blogger uses inline CSS style for applying styles to text or any elements, let's try to find why these makes the text background white sometimes which usually looks like a white bar.
That's a problem to many people, often to those who use post background color other than white. And it doesn't mean that having black or other color background causes this, but the problem list is multiple and solutions are also different.
So read through the whole post to get it fixed correctly, the reasons of this problem has been divided into different section with their solution, so far i have found only two reasons of this problem, but i am sure that there are not more.

Copying text from other sites or Word Processing software

This is one of the most common issue, many Blogger don't understand what it can cause when copying from other site or a word processing application like MS Word. The cause of the white background is usually because when you copy the text from other website page, the background format of that webpage will be also copied along with the text and will be applied when you paste it in Blogger Post editor or any WYSIWYG editor. It's the same when you copy text from a rich text editor like MS Word or Wordpad, but along with the display format it also copies the excessive coding of the MS Word text, which is not compatible with ideal web page.
Fixing it : There's only one way to stop this, suppose if you have some text on other site that you need to post it on your blog, when you copy the text, it also carries the customization with it. To prevent it from being carried you have to first copy the Text from the website or MS Word. Now open a plain text editor, Notepad is a common one, paste the text into it now copy the text from Notepad (plain text editor) and then paste the Text into Blogger post editor, that will prevent the system from carrying the customization.
It's like Copy from Website - Paste into Notepad - Copy from Notepad - Paste into Blogger Post Editor. Notepad here works like a filter, which turns the rich text into plain text.

Putting white background on text in Post Editor

This is much a confusion, when editing the post in the Post Editor you are distracted by the Post editor interface and you assume that the blog post background is white as in the post editor. When in the post editor you get lots of customization options in which 'text background color' is one. Imagine, you want to change the text color and instead of selecting the text color option from customization bar you select the text background option by mistake and then what you see is background color on your text, then to remove the background color you select white from the text background option. And that's where you make the mistake, you didn't remember that you had black background on post in your blog and the text are going to be white but you have set the text background in the post editor to white !
So, now you may have understand what's that causing it, i am also going to list the fixes for it so you can make it like the way it should be.

Fixing it : The text or any element in the post editor is styled with inline CSS styles, so you have to delete the inline CSS styles which has white background, you can easily detect which text is having white background. You can find it by switching to HTML mode and there you will see the HTML of your post body. For example this is the HTML
    <span style="background-color: white;">I AM A BLOGGER</span>
You can clearly see the inline CSS (highlighted in yellow), removing it will fix the white background problem or so called white bar problem.
Preventing it : This usually happens when you mistakenly give select the text background color instead of the text color and to revert the text background color to it's previous state you select the white from the option, but that's not clean at all. You must use CTRL+Z or the Undo option on the customization bar in Blogger Post Editor.
Hope you will keep this mind and next time you have the solution. Best of luck with Blogging.

Remove Blogger/Google+ icon following your Blogger Profile name

Blogger recently made changes to the templates or i may say the Profile gadget, it's not such a big change, they have only added a small Blogger icon following the Blogger Profile name. In this tutorial i will be showing how to remove the Blogger Icon.

Update : Also works if you have Google+ logo following your name in the profile gadget.

I think the Blogger Icon looks great before the profile name, it proudly represents that you are a Blogger user, here's what it is.

If you don't really liked this new change then remove it ! Don't worry we will guide you how to remove the logo.
This will be done using CSS and it's very easy, so you don't need to be a tech savvy person.

How to Add CSS - Go to Blogger Dashboard > Template > Customize (Template Designer) > Advanced > Add CSS > Paste the CSS in the custom CSS box and preview, if you find it okay, then hit Apply to Blog.

    The CSS :

    .profile-name-link
    {
    background-image:none !important;
    padding-left:0px;
    }

The second CSS property is for removing the space left after hiding the blogger logo.

    Hope that helps you :)

I came to know about it in Blogger Help Forum in this thread, as i never used ShabbyBlogs add-on i don't exactly know how it's used. The ShabbyBlogs website is also displaying an warning message, so people can avoid visiting the site.

I am not sure what happened to ShabbyBlogs, had it been hacked ? Is it some internal errors from Google spam systems ? God knows.

But if you are using ShabbyBlogs add-ons on your blog remove it completely or Google will start display warning messages for your blog too.

I will update if i get more information on what's happening to ShabbyBlogs.

    3. Infolinks engineers are always ready to help in real time through email, you don't get automated emails from computers, talk to the real peoples.
    4. They offer payments through Paypal which is a great option for people who wants their payment to reach them fast.

    Beware of ww4(dot)savegco.antivir(dot)com

The website ww4. savegco.anitvir .com is a problem to many new Blogger and website owners, they have complaint suddent change in their Stats and can see this website as referring site. Let's see what's it.
This website have become a headache of many Bloggers, you have probably seen it on your Stats in Referring sites section, but wait, is it ok? are real people seeing your site referring from the site mentioned ?

Update : We think these referral spams have now cooled down and it's effects are getting down. But now a new type of spam is rising, so beware of it. You can read about it here http://stramaxon.blogspot.com/2012/07/anonymous-comments-on-blogs-beware-its.html

No ! It's not all okay, the site is an spam site and contains Malicious viruses, they appear to refer some visitors to your site, but they are not really, it's all their computer which is increasing your Pageviews to get a place in your Stats, and when somebody sees they might just click on it, nothing can be worse than that, clicking on these links are dangerous, if you don't have a good antivirus, then they can do anything means anything. So beware of these spams, not clicking on those links are the only way to get rid of these.

This is not the only website which is in news for referrer spams, there are more website's that you might see in your stats that may be suspicious, here you can have a list of domains which are not bit famous for referrer spam.
    1. www4(dot)savegco-antivir(dot)com/
    2. www4(dot)safe-vochecker(dot)com/

I have replaced the . with (dot) so that you don't click on any of the links mistakenly and catch a malware or virus from any of these sites. There are more referrer spam sites you might see in your stats, so if you feel the links is not related to your content then just prevent from clicking on the links, as the main aim of these sites are to make you click on their links, if you find any new domain that you think is suspicious, free feel to let us know and we will post the link here.

We want our Blogger network to be clean and green, so if you see any links in your Stats then please think twice before clicking it.
If you want to learn more then you can check NiteCruzr's (TC in Blogger help forum) blog.

Owners of newer blogs, with less established traffic, will see their pageview counts fluctuate more.

    http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/ 2011/09/referer-spam-war- leads-to-fluctuations.html

Referer spam affects Stats, and similar website activity log summaries - but third party activity logs will be immune to its effects.

    http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/ 2011/10/blogger-magic-third- party-visitor-logs.html

Be aware how Stats is unique - which leads to this problem.

Stop clicking on the links in your Stats logs.  That's the only way to make referer spam stop.

Blogger Page Title doesn't show correctly for Dynamic templates in Firefox

Blogger's blog are facing problem to show the accurate Page Title on Firefox tab, instead of showing the Page Title, it's shows the Url

Blogger Blogs with Dynamic template aren't showing page title on Tab of Firefox, every blog with Dynamic template is affected and when opened in Firefox, it doesn't shows the Page title on tab, but shows the full Blog Address.

I am not sure what's causing it, is it the Firefox or the Blogger ?  But this is really annoying, however it shows the Page title for post pages well but creates problem with Home page.

I am trying my best to figure it out what's the exact problem, i will update this post after i have some updates about this problem, hope Blogger will also try to fix this problem. I hope someone from Google sees my post and do something about this.

If you have any idea about this please reply in comments.

This is tested with Latest version of Firefox (11) and still the problem occurs. Someone need to fix it as soon as possible, i am trying my best.

Blogger finaly shows Quick Edits on Country Specific Domains too !

Quick edit icons were not showing due to country specific redirection Google started for blogger blog, but it got fixed by Google today.

Blogger users were facing difficulties to edit gadgets on their page directly, because they were not able to see the Quick edit buttons, which were gone because of Blogger's country specific domain redirection, which Google has started for comfort to ban a blogger blog in a particular country.

For few months we were not able to access the Quick edit buttons when we were not in our .com version of the blog, some blogger's knew that adding /ncr at end of blog address may help them to access the .com version of their blog and then they can access quick edit buttons, but for most bloggers it was an unknown solution, that's why we were getting questions in Blogger Help forum regularly and so i had to make a post regarded to this problem, you can still see the blog post here

Now that blog post is useless, as Blogger started to show quick edits for country specific domains too, but it really took so many days for Blogger engg. to fix this problem, but they did it. Google is the best and they care about their users more than any other service.

Facebook pages getting new look 30 March

We will discuss about the new features for Facebook pages as Facebook has made the word out.

Facebook is changing it's features and look time to time, there have been good changes such in Facebook page insight, changes in wall feature etc. and some head scratching changes for some people like The new Facebook timeline. From 2006 to 2012 Facebook has changed alot, and i have seen many changes with my own eyes.

I was just browsing my Facebook fan page when Facebook started showing a message banner on top of my page, it was similar to the timeline invitation. Have a look at it.

If you also have a Facebook page and got a message like this, preview it. The most shocking thing is that it's look like the Facebook timeline Profile ! However it's on you to switch Timeline or not, but for pages, Facebook said it that all your Facebook pages will automatically change to this new look.

Facebook should realize that 75% of people din't like the timeline itself, then why another timeline for pages?Although Facebook should give an option to either keep it or not, they said all pages will automatically get the new look, however the timeline for pages looks somewhere good, but for pages it will look so weird, it's only page where we can go and see new pictures uploaded in an order, but after the new look will be in, all experienced will be spoiled i think. How weird it will look, you can see on this page .

People who love the old classic look of Facebook pages are not likely to accept the new page look, Facebook always gives heart attack to their user by not providing any switch off 'timeline' button or something like that.

If we compare Facebook to Google, Google is good at giving the user option either to keep the new change or switch back to the old, but Facebook never provided anything like that, if you are a blogger or an Gmail user then you should have come over some times when Google made changes to their look but they always keep the power to change to new or not to the user.

However i would not like to change my Public figure Facebook page to the new looks, i didn't even switched to Timeline, because i already tried it when it was not released for general public. So Facebook page owners you like it or not you will be force fully applied to you, once it releases, we will try to do something about it.

Is Facebook employees not able to make any option to switch to new look or old look, or Facebook want their new design to be applied by all Facebook user?

The only thing left with white background is the home page/news feed page, I beg Facebook not to make any further changes to it, or i will quit Facebook and switch to Google+ forever. If you think Facebook is not doing good anymore you may switch to Google+, it's better, the problem is that not most of our friends are on Google+ that's why i have to open my Facebook.

    Brand New Feature

The only feature in new look for pages that caught my attention is the 'Milestone', where we can create a even which describe any milestone the page has completed like reaching 1 million likes or any other milestones, it will be highlighted in page, so that everyone can see it.

Pages that already applied the new look
